Placing 3rd in the Illinois State Championship as an 8th grader with my Feeder team was the highlight of my middle school career. I have played in bigger tournaments on my travel team like the AAU Nationals in Virginia at Boo Williams and the Nike Tournament in Chicago. But the tournament in Rockford was one my best memories as we made it to the Semi-Finals against St. Benedict and four of the players on that team played on my travel team so it was a really good school team. We had a hard fought game and gave them their toughest test in the tournament as they became the eventual champions.
I am now ready to start my high school career as a freshman playing Junior Varsity. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid point guard capable of playing at the highest levels. I have speed, ball-handling, and getting better at my 3pt shooting. As far as college, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
