Grace Riley '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Riley. I am in the graduating class of 2021. I go to Belleville East Township High School, in Belleville Illinois. I'm a 5'6 point guard. I started playing competitive basketball in third grade with a local select basketball team. I then continued on playing throughout middle school, playing with both my grade level and up a grade level. When I entered high school I played on the JV team as a Freshman, leading me to play on both JV and Varsity my Sophmore year. I currently find my strengths being my court vision and ability to share the ball effectively, as well as shooting the ball. I take pride in my devotion and love for the game. Along with being a dedicated athlete, I am a dedicated student. I currently hold a 4.35 out of 5.0 GPA. I take two honors classes and am an honor roll student. I enjoy beinging a part of a team because of the relationships I am able to form with my teamates and the person it shapes me to be. I hope this AAU season and upcoming school year creates growth for me as both an athlete and a person. I think that having a future with a game I love to play would be an amazing experience to have. I look forward to working hard and becoming the best I can be, in hopes of my basketball career continuing to the collegiate level.
