I am not like every other girl who has been playing basketball since they were younger. I have found a love and passion for it just two years ago. I have always felt incomplete before I touched a basketball for the first time. Basketball was apart of my weight loss journey where I lost 70 lbs.Through weight loss, you need extreme determination and need to put in hard work.I have learned that I am an extremely hard worker. Going to the gym 6 times a week and completely changing my diet. I want to follow in my brothers footstep who plays college basketball on a D-1 level. He is my inspiration. He has taught me the things I know and coaches continue to make me a better player. I am extremely coach able and a fast learner. I learned so much in two years that most have learned in 6. I can only imagine where I can be in another year. I love this sport with everything in me . My attitude and always positive on and off the court. I learn from my mistakes and make it my goal to be better the next time around .I eat , sleep , and breathe basketball. Playing ball at a college level would be a dream. It is harder for me because I just got in the game but not many people know that. They expect I have been playing for years. Basketball has become my happiness and I do not see a life without it.
