Basketball is my passion and the court is like a second home to me. I have a strong desire to play basketball at the collegiate level. I will be pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy to specialize in kids with disabilities. My ideal college would be located within 4 hours of home since my family is an important part of who I am, along with my faith in God. A medium-sized college with a small student-to-teacher ratio would also be preferred since I thrive on building relationships with my teachers, classmates, and teammates.
My wingspan and height help me to excel at defense, especially to get deflections, blocks, and defensive stops. I always give my best in everything. I am constantly working to improve, and I will always encourage my teammates. Since I have experienced both the starting role and the bench role throughout my years in competitive sports, I can connect with everyone and grow closer to my teammates.
Between my work ethic, coachability, encouragement to others, and putting my team first, I am able to help lead my team by example. I am not afraid to do the work and I love to help others. I am looking forward to playing at the next competitive level with a team that will be there for me and a coach to challenge me to become the absolute best that I can be.
