Samantha Jahjah '15 Recruiting Profile

College Basketball has been an aspiration of mine since I was a little kid. What makes me different from most athletes is my work ethic, motivation to get better, and heart for the game. I'm a person that understands the competition that College Basketball comes with and in order to keep up with other athletes, training on the off season is key and one of the things I'm strong at doing. Also, I thrive to learn and make changes in my game in order to become a better athlete. Although basketball is a huge part of my life, education has been an important aspect to me as well. I have aspirations of majoring in Chemistry or Mathematics on a Pre-Med track and hopefully get my graduate degree as a Physician Assistant or Physical Therapist. I truly believe that character isn't something you completely get from sports and academics, it's something your parents develop in you. I was raised to be a humble, kind-hearted, and selfless person and I give God and my mother 110 % of the credit behind who I am today.
