Hi, my name is Sophie Desrochers and I am in the class of 2023 at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts. I started playing basketball in the 4th grade but got very serious in 7th grade when I made my middle school basketball team. I started playing AAU in 7th grade for BDS Basketball. I play year-round basketball with AAU in the fall and spring/summer, and my school basketball team in the winter. During the summer I will be playing AAU and doing some basketball camps to keep improving my skills. Something very important to me is players that will work hard and trust each other on and off the court. I always want my whole team to work hard and give it their all. I hope to play college basketball for many reasons. I want to be challenged on and off the court, with academics and athletics. I’m one of the hardest working and committed people you will ever meet. If I want something, I try my hardest to achieve the goal. Playing basketball in the future is my goal, I’m a hard worker and hope to achieve it.
