For as long as I can remember I’ve had an intense love for sports and they have been mainly what my life revolves around. Not only am I talented athletically, but I am also strong in the academic area as well. Being a student athlete is incredibly important to me because my parents passed away when I was at a young age and none of my other siblings have done much with their lives when they could’ve. I would like to make my parents proud by doing what I know I can do and what they never got the chance to do. My passion for basketball is very strong and it shows anytime I step on the court.
Being a follower was never really my thing and I think that makes me a good asset to any team. No matter what the score is, what everybody else is saying or doing, I will always be there to pick the team back up and give off positive vibes. I strongly believe in teamwork and I think it is essential to winning.
As far as coaches and the program in general goes, my goal is to win, perfect my skills and have fun. I am willing to work hard every single day for a coach that gives back the same effort and energy I give them. I hope to form bonds with all of my coaches and teammates to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for all of us.
