Julia Dank '25 Recruiting Profile

One word.....  grit.

In the classroom, I had many challenges when I was younger.  I had to develop grit and determination to get to where I am today!  I am proud to say that I have just been inducted into the National Honor Society.  This is far from where I started!  

On the court, my strength of character and work ethic as made me successful in basketball.  I truly feel that my talent and experiences on the court helped me be successful in the classroom.  I can't wait to share my experiences with the next generation.  That is why I want to be a physical educator and coach someday soon.

Basketball is my life.  

Exciting games, team practices, one on one trainings, working out in the gym, nutrition, 3v3 sessions, small group trainings and tournaments are just a few of the days of a normal week in my life.  

I have been playing for Ward Melville High School as well as training at Rossetti Basketball where I play AAU for their team Develup Blue.  Some inspirational trainers and coaches I work with are Hunter Schenkel, Ralph Rossetti, Ryan Hickey, Alyssa Torres and owner Michael Rossetti.  I  use constructive criticism to improve.  

It is my dream to become a physical educator and teach the next generation all about physical fitness, sports and teamwork.  I want to help others find their passion and use it to live a healthy long life.
