Ariah Vona '26 Recruiting Profile

I have loved math, playing music, and basketball for as long as I can remember. I want these key factors of my life to be a part of my future, during and after college. I think I am a good candidate for your team because I bring kindness, teamwork, leadership, empathy, and skill with me wherever I go. I am flexible and able to preform well in many different environments and conditions. I have always had an eagerness and passion to learn and improve. I set high goals for myself and do the hard work to not only meet those goals, but to exceed them. I am different from other recruits because I come from a very small school. I have attended Fishers Island School since I was in 8th grade. There I have found my voice and my passion for being a leader and working with others from many different backgrounds. I was selected to attend the CT and World HOBY leadership conferences. I plan to take the skills I learned at these events, and throughout the challenges I have faced in my life with me wherever I go.
