My name is Josely Medina.
I am a Freshman starter on S.S. Seward's Varsity basketball team. I am an all honors student with a 4.0 GPA. My goal is to maintain those attributes of my academic career all throughout high school and college. I started playing basketball for the first time in 7th grade at the age of 12. After some time playing and practicing basketball, I grew a love and a passion for the sport. I know I'm still relatively new to the sport, and I have so much to learn. I am physically strong and can quickly adapt to different situations. You improve by practicing what's right, and learning from your mistakes. Good thing I'm considered to be a fast learner. I know I'm going to face many challenges along the way; but I also know that it's only going to make me a better player, and human being. I currently play for a 14U Elite Spring AAU Basketball team at Gymratz Performance. I aspire to become an NYPD Police Officer to follow my mother and father's footsteps.
