My name is Raine Dingle and I am a 5'2 135 lb. point guard. I have been playing basketball as young as 3 years old when my father introduced me to the sport. I have had much experience in street and also organized basketball. Although being the size that I am, I will benefit the team both offensively and defensively. My ball handling is very quick, simple, and efficient. I also take a good selection of shots while having an eye open for teammates. Being a point guard, I believe that assists matter just as much as points. My points are not the only thing significant to me in a game. My unselfishness with the ball greatly benefits the team I'm on. I have great speed and stamina (as I play for the full game throughout high school games) for getting pass defenders on the perimeter and finishing inside of the court. However, taking jump shots contested or open isn't a problem for me, especially taking essential shots in the time of clutch. As the starting PG in all of the club and high school games I played in, it provided me with a plenty of experience, for instance, being the size that I am gives me the determination and resilience to get the job done and remain calm for for the entirety of the game no matter the pressure. As a defensive player, I have been labeled "fast", "attentive", and a "hustler". I try to cause as many turnovers without reaching in and gain points from it. My great defense has numerously impacted my individual opponent's points and overall influence on the game no matter their speed, weight, or height. I am very big on teamwork which I believe will benefit any team I am placed on. With the passion of basketball and wanting to help people, I aspire to be a sports medicine physician assistant. This job allows me to assist athletes in injury prevention and rehabilitation while encouraging them to persevere through their journey. With this job, I will raise money to provide basketball camps for girls around the country and hopefully, globally also. I can see my future in basketball going beyond the sport and impacting others than just myself being that I want to be able to use my talents to give back.
