Mackenzie Owens '24 Recruiting Profile

From a very young age my goal has been to play basketball at the collegiate level. I’ve been in the gym since I began to walk. Basketball has always been in my life and I’ve always been very passionate about the game. Academically I strive to get high grades and work just as hard in the classroom. One of my unique characteristics is that I’m always looking for the next challenge. I love competing and love being challenged while competing. 

I’m a two year starter on the girls varsity basketball team, I also played varsity lacrosse as a seventh grader, and I play on the JV volleyball team.  For basketball as a seventh grader I was named ECIC first team for my division, All Small Schools team for my area, and All Western New York Honorable Mention team. This past year as an eighth grader I was named ECIC first team for my division, All Western New York Honorable Mention, and New York State All state team for Class B. 

My dream is to continue working as hard as I can to improve my game to reach my goals and continue to get my best education I can.
