After finishing my first varsity season as an 8th grader I have a lot to improve on. First I need to work on my dribbling and footwork, I have been working one on one with a trainer to develop my game as a point guard. Throughout my high school career I hope to be able to read the court and my team as a leader which will help me become a solid point guard playing at the college level. I realize I needed to push myself by facing the toughest competition so, I played on two AAU teams. I played on a 10th and 11th grade team for Hoop Mountain.
I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership not only in basketball but in my many years of showing horses and being involved in 4-H. The many things I have done in 4-H are as follows: horse bowl, hippology, public presentations, horse judging, showing at the local and state level in hunt seat and western. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
