Abigail Loiacono '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abigail Loiacono and I’m part of the class of 2023 at Smithtown Christian School in Smithtown, New York. Ever since I was young I enjoyed playing sports. From a young age, I started playing competitively with soccer but once I found basketball I discovered that I enjoyed it much more and recognized that it was something I wanted to focus my attention on. I have several other passions as well including running, photography, videography, and solving tough brain puzzles. I work hard in everything I do and always strive to achieve excellence. My mission is to be a leader both on and off the basketball court. I enjoy not only the outcome of the work that is put into becoming a better player but I also enjoy the process. I find joy in the journey that it takes to get me to the level at which I eventually want to play. I know that wherever I play there going to be challenges I am going to face but I am eager to face them so that I can improve as a player, and overall as a person.
