My collegiate goals include obtaining a degree in mathematics or finance. I really enjoy math and would love to one day work for myself as an accountant or finance person in international business. I am a fierce competitor on and off the court. I have a strong sense of leadership and focus.
When on the court, my biggest role is to remain focused and keep my team in the game until the finish. I am a team player. I am very unselfish and I work diligently on improving my mental game as well as my physical game. I believe what helps me stand out is I am an all around good student. I enjoy basketball but I also enjoy school and being a part of the school community. I was named Defensive Player of the Year during my junior year at Valley Stream Central. I was also honorable mention, All County during the same junior year.
I am a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. I also served as a student leader during my freshman and sophomore year. Community Service is in my blood, as my family is full of teachers, therefore I enjoy teaching kids. During the summer I spend my days working at Shooting Stars Basketball Camp, where I help kids develop their skills and my same love for basketball.
