Samantha Dembinsky '24 Recruiting Profile

 Since I first stepped onto an athletic playing field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level and I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, mental toughness, and a high basketball IQ.  I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. 

Year round, I work extremely hard on my basketball skills, and participate on an AAU Team. I have also participated in many  years of Little League, and Junior League of Softball, Select and Travel Soccer, High School Soccer and High School Softball, and strength and conditioning training, which all contributes to my athleticism.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I was inducted into The National Junior Honor Society and currently now take multiple advanced classes to help prepare me for college. I also volunteer at local youth basketball, soccer, and softball camps. In my spare time, I babysit for local friends and families. 

Along with my twin sister, Alex, I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. My area of academic interest at this time is Nursing/ Health and Medicine and I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
