Demetria Woodard '16 Recruiting Profile

I've been around the game of basketball for as long as I could remember. I knew that basketball was the sport for me as soon as I stepped on the court eight years ago. Playing at the college level is something that I would strive for each day. I am aware that playing at the college level is a great opportunity that comes with a lot of sacrifices.

I have strong offensive and defensive skills, athleticism, a strong basketball IQ, as well as speed and power. I am a leader on and off the court and I lead by setting an example for my teammates though workouts, drills, and scrimmages. I will always push my teammates to get the absolute best out of them. I am very coachable and I handle criticism well. Also I'm one of the hardest working player you will have and I will give 100% everyday.

During school I work hard in maintaining a consistent GPA and honors. I volunteer at a youth basketball camp and I am a member of student congress.

I want to attend a college that will push me to the best of my ability on and off the court. I'm more than willing to do anything that will help find the right college for me and I understand that sacrifices will be made along the way.
