Moving to Fayetteville, NC from Martinsville, VA was a great choice that my mother and father made , at first I didn’t want to move because I didn’t think things would go how they ended up going as in better options for basketball , better competition, and more schools to play , I have accomplished more, and better programs for school . It has now been 3 almost 4 years since I’ve been living in Fayetteville but my freshman year is where everything started to fall in place . I improved a lot , my work ethic has increased, I am also more determined to be great .
I first started playing basketball at a young age , it was introduced to me by my father , we would go to the park and do a lot of shooting drills and dribbling drills not only that he always told me that everything I do , do it with 120% . Then when I was 12 my dad went away for a little and I began to continue those drills but at that time it was different, I went harder than ever and remembered everything I do , do it with 120% because I wanted to make him proud so when he returned he could see that I took something he started and added on to it on my own because that’s how passionate I am about this sport. Playing a sport you have to realize a lot as in you should keep your circle surrounded in positivity, you have to sacrifice going out and having fun , you have to get up early, and you have to always work to get better even if it’s on your own because that’s the only way your gonna get better which is the reasonI push myself to do better than I did the day before .
