Hello, my name is Jadyn Murray and I am an 11th grade student at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC . I played on the Northwest Guilford Middle School team in 7th and 8th grade and I've played on my High School varsity team beginning with my Freshman year in High School.
I am an excellent student, currently carrying an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and a weighted GPA of 4.6. I currently rank 7th in my class of 519 students. I have a strong work ethic that helps me achieve excellence in the classroom and, it is also invaluable on the court. I am organized and disciplined and can prioritize effectively; I currently balance academics, Varsity Basketball, AAU Basketball, and my volunteer hours with Out of the Garden Project in Greensboro. I also work at the Spears YMCA during the Summer as a camp counselor.
I would like to pursue a college degree in Chemistry/pre-Med; ultimately I wish to study Medicine and become a pediatric surgeon. I would be a good candidate for your team because I work hard, I am willing to learn, and I am dedicated to achieving results. My track record thus far, in the classroom and on the court, shows that I can manage my time effectively, set goals and, accomplish them. I work well with others; teamwork is one of the main reasons I enjoy the game. I take direction well but I am also not afraid to lead; often doing so by example.
