My name is Madison Rena Gillie. I am a 2021 graduate of RS Central High School in Rutherfordton, NC. I am a member of the RS Central Lady Hilltoppers Basketball team as well as the track team. I also play AAU basketball for Wilkes Hoop Group in Wilkesboro, NC. My freshman and sophomore year I was selected as a Southwestern All Conference Player. So far this season in my junior year, I have been named the NCHSAA player of the week and MaxPreps - WBCA Player of the Week, and the 2019-2020 Southwestern All Conference Player of the Year. My love of basketball goes back to my early childhood. I couldn't wait to sign up to play basketball as soon as I turned 5; I have not put the basketball down since. I hope to continue my love of basketball at the college level after graduating high school. I am confident I have the ability as well as the commitment and drive to be an integral part of a college basketball team. I am willing to put in the hard work needed to contribute to the success of the team. I am open minded to college options and hope to find the perfect fit for me. I hope you will take the opportunity to check out my highlight videos and learn more about me and my competitive nature on the court.
