My interest in Education as a career is rooted in the satisfaction of helping others achieve success, encouraging them to strive beyond their goals, and celebrating their accomplishments. I believe as a student athlete it is my responsibility to not give up out of frustration, know when only actions versus words are helpful, own the outcomes of my decisions, seek solutions to problems and make it happen. My core beliefs come from my Christian faith and is reflected in my favorite verse, "Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves...", Proverbs 31:8.
