Libby Boothman - ...Personal Statement
I currently dive at Ohio State Diving Club and am able to train with some of the best divers in the USA. I have learned very strong fundamental skills and my proficiency with all dives has improved greatly over the past several months. I am still in the stage of very rapid improvement, skill and dive development and I expect that I will continue to develop and improve as a diver right through my college career.
Prior to diving, I was selected to the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Jumpstart National Team in 2012. I was also a trampoline JO National Championship event winner in 2011 and 2012. I competed in trampoline/tumbling for 8 years before transitioning to diving a little over 2 years ago.
I am a proven competitor and winner now training at one of the best diving clubs in the United States.
