My name is Kate Miller and I have been diving since I was 6 years old. I am currently on the Canadian National Junior Team and compete at both the junior and senior level.
As I am now in Grade 11, I am thinking about my future, not only in diving but also in my academic and career goals. I have recently moved to Toronto (I am from Ottawa) to train with the National Coach and have my sights set on competing nationally and internationally this year (COVID permitting).
The opportunity of attending a university that provides the chance to further my academic development and career goals while allowing me to train and compete in the sport I love would be a dream come true. I am a hard working person and am told I am a quick learner and very coachable.
I have just started the process of researching schools and I am not sure if I want to persue business/marketing or perhaps education/teaching at this point in my life. My goal is to dive at the highest level and to compete against the best.
