Veronica Westom '22 Recruiting Profile

I would love to be able to compete at a collegiate level for diving because I have been diving for 6 years and I am not ready to give it up yet. I believe I am a good candidate for a team because I am very optimistic and I make high goals and work my hardest until I achieve them. I am different from many recruits because throughout my high school career I have had 3 seperate coaches and so every season I feel like I am restarting with a new person and a new coaching style. I also spent half my freshman and sophomore season diving alone because my teammates quit or were injured. Despite those challenges I have pushed myself to excel and work even harder. I am very persistent on my academics because I am a student first and I push myself to have at least B's in my AP and harder classes and A's in my other classes.
