I was selected to compete for Team USA in the 2020 World Deaf Golf Championships to be held at Forest of Arden, Birmingham, England in August of 2020. I was the youngest member on the team (12 years old at the time of my selection). Unfortunately the event was canceled due to COVID-19. I am slated to compete at the United States Deaf Golf Championships at Falconhead Golf Club in Austin, Texas in June of 2021.
I did compete in the United States Deaf Golf National Championships in June of 2021 in Austin, Texas. I shot a 4 day score of 304 with rounds of 78, 77, 75 and 74 at a distance of 5800 yards. I won 1st place, and set a 4 day USDGC record for total strokes in the women's division. I will now compete in the 2022 World Deaf Golf Championships in Lihue, HI. I also am looking to compete in the 2022 Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil next May.
I also defended my title as US Deaf Golf Champion in July of 2023 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. I also plan on playing in the 2025 US Deaf Championship in July of 2025 in Orlando, FL. I was also selected to represent Team USA in Tokyo, Japan to play on Team USA in the 2025 Deaf Olympics taking place in November 2025.
I want to compete in as many arenas as I can in my junior golf career to prepare me to play at the highest level I can collegiately. I am a hard worker and have already overcome much in my life. I am a fighter and will never give up. I love God, my family and friends, my puppy and playing golf.
