Mia Natividad '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

I am writing to introduce myself. My name is Mia Natividad, and I am currently a Junior at Yorkville High School in Yorkville, Illinois. I would like to take a moment to tell you more about myself and my interest in continuing my academic and athletic career.

I began competitive golf five years ago, as a seventh grader. Since then, I’ve spent each year with the goal of taking my game to the next level, realizing that my ultimate goal is to compete on the collegiate level. As a result of focused training, I’ve seen consistent improvement across all areas of my game, particularly throughout the past 2 years. My club speed has increased from 89 mph to 97 mph on average. By continually increasing my workout schedule and speed training, I am well on my way to reaching 100 mph by the end of training season. Additionally, my scoring differential went from a 4.75 in the 2020 season to a 2.78 in the 2021 season. My current off-season achievements also include tremendous progress on putting routine and stroke; actively using Puttview technology to visualize speed and break from all angles. As I transition to outdoor training and practice, I plan to incorporate my routine and visualization work to take my lag putting to the next level.

I truly believe that my best golf is ahead of me; and with the tools that I have, my potential is limitless. I hope you will consider me as a class of 2023 recruit, and would love the opportunity to keep in touch and update you on my tournament season as the year progresses.
