Ava's swings, chi...Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Ava Spencer from Groveland Massachusetts! My father is a golf professional and I have been around the game of golf since I was three years old, however until the spring of 2018 golf was never more than the occasional activity. Going into the summer of 2018 I realized that golf was something that I loved and had a passion for, and as I began playing more that passion came from my heart. At the start of summer 2018, I was a 32 handicap. That number quickly dropped as I spent most of my time at the golf course working on my craft, playing in tournaments, prioritizing my fitness and working all through out the off season. As of today, I am a 3 handicap and am only getting better. Being around golf my entire life has helped with my mechanics and mindset, my body has been trained for this sport, therefore, I have a lot of power, quick hands, and a strong mental game; but most importantly, I have drive and passion for the game of golf.
