Pooja Jade '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Pooja Jade and I will be graduating from high school in 2026. I attend the highly ranked Edison Academy Magnet School and play Varsity Golf for JP Stevens High School in Edison, NJ. My aspiration is to pursue a business degree while continuing to play golf in college and beyond. As a student-athlete, I strive to balance academics and golf with equal dedication. I enjoy advanced coursework at school, and appreciate both the physical and mental components of the golf game.

I started playing golf at the age of 10 at the First Tee organization and quickly moved on to compete in tournaments such as USKids and NJPGA. Over the years, I have developed a disciplined work ethic and determination to perform better which has helped me win several awards and medals. These events have also given me the chance to build friendships and meet other like-minded and talented players. I hope to build on these skills and become a committed member of your college team both on and off the course. Beyond golf, I have a passion for singing and serve as the Vocal Director for our school’s music club while being a member of the Wharton Arts New Jersey Youth Chorus. 

During my junior year, I plan to continue competing in NJPGA and AJGA tournaments. Currently, I am focused on sharpening my short game, as it plays a critical role in saving strokes and improving overall performance. Alongside my golf practice, I am committed to excelling in my AP classes and contributing to my choir performances. Playing college golf has always been my dream, and I would be honored to join a team of talented players, compete at the highest level, and contribute to its success.
