My passion and love of golf started when I was ten years old, spending time with my father and grandfather on the course. Along with developing an early love of golf, those days on the course taught me lessons in focus, composure and determination. I love the challenges and competition of the sport, along with those that are unique to the game of golf.
I have played on our High School Boy’s golf team for four years and have been a starting Varsity player for the past two years. This has given me the perspective and experience of playing courses from a longer distance. It has also given me the opportunity to persevere and challenge myself to achieve at higher levels. This past spring, I played in the Girl’s High School States for the first time and finished in the top 20.
I have experienced tournament level play for the past four years in PGA of Central New York events. I have also competed in several Hurricane tour and Junior events. I recently qualified for and played in the Girl’s Junior PGA National Championship, 2019 in Hartford, Connecticut. It was an incredible experience that inspired me to work even harder at my game to become the best player that I can be. I look forward to pursuing my future challenges in golf and to being part of a collegiate level team.
