Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Katie Conway and I am currently a sophomore at Nanuet High School. I have been playing sports since I was little and golf was the first one that really clicked. I’ve been playing field hockey since 6th grade through travel and school teams but I started golf freshman year and knew it would be a good match. That first year I was in a great environment with tons of support from my school and family, specifically my dad who has been playing golf his whole life. Currently I am looking into club leagues and more one-on-one coaching with private lessons to continue to improve. But, while I love sports, school is currently my top priority. In the future I would like to go to a school that values diversity and lots opportunities to continue to improve on the course and in life. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
