Julia Kret '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf since before I can remember! My dad taught my siblings and I from a young age, and I was hooked from the beginning. I am the youngest in my family by a few years so I would always try to beat my siblings by hitting further or shooting lower scores. I believe this gave me my super competitive side. My goal is to play collegiate golf and hopefully one day make golf my career, this has been my dream since I started playing. I feel I have a great attitude toward the game and I will never give up. I have had many lows just this past season and in the past years but I work through them to come out the other side stronger and better! I am a hard worker and determined to reach my full potential! I practice every single day after school and on the weekends and I try to practice on the course as much as I can. I do not belong to a country club so I don't have the resources of most candidates you might be looking at but I feel that I have used the resources at public ranges to the best of my ability. I can't wait to hopefully use the amazing facilities offered in college to greatly improve my game and be a great addition to a team!

I am just as focused and determined in my academics as I am in my golf. I am excited to continue my academic career in college and push myself to my fullest potential. I don't know yet what my major will be but I will update this section once I decide what I would want to study.
