My name is Madison Sloan. I am sixteen and a senior at Havelock High School. I started playing golf in seventh grade for my middle school, but then it was just a hobby. By the end of my sophomore year, I realized that I really loved the sport and I wanted to play it more competitively. I have just finished my high school career with an 18th place finish at the state tournament, I finished first in my conference earning "Conference player of the Year". I have plans to compete on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour during the winter and spring tp prepare myself for collegiate golf.
My school work is also very important to me. I have a strong academic record and currently rank seventh in my class. I work extremely hard to maintain my grades and I am not satisfied with average. I push myself as hard in the classroom as I do on the course.
My plan is to continue playing golf even after college, and my ultimate dream is to find a career that centers around golf. I love the challenge of the sport and how there is always a need for constant improvement. I love working on my swing and striving to get better. My goal right now is to play college golf and ultimately improve my game. I am excited to be on this site and I hope to find the best college for me!
