Personal Statement

My name is Breannon "Bree" Council and I am an aspiring golfer from Wilson, North Carolina. I am a class of 2024 graduate.

My goals for golf moving forward are to go to the collegiate level of course, but also to be able to compete in the Bell division in the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour, not just play in it. I have a lot of competitive drive that I would love to take into college golf. What I am most looking for in a college is location, majors available, academics/athletics, costs, and just what I believe would be the best fit for me. I will bring perseverance on and off the course, that's something everyone says though, what will make me stand out is my personality and love of all things sports. I won't just play golf but I will cheer on my teammates and the rest of the athletes in the school outside of golf.

I am a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I did dance (I stopped dance before freshman year to focus more on golf). When I began karate and dance I was 4 years old, and I have stuck with them for 10+ years. I also play the clarinet (https://www.smore.com/km4fc-our-story-shout-outs?ref=email) which I started in 6th grade and have continued with it in high school.

I hope to be on your team in 2024-25! Thank you.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
