I began learning how to play golf when I was in middle school, learning the fundamentals of golf through an operation 36 program for juniors. It was during covid that I really began playing consistently on an 18-hole golf course. Golf was not my first opportunity in sports. I grew up playing soccer and continue to play both competitive club and high school varsity soccer along with varsity golf. As a dual sport athlete time management is very important in order to juggle academics, golf, and soccer. Outside of school and sports I referee youth soccer games in the spring and fall and volunteer at food banks when I can.
As a competitor, I am very interested in playing golf in college. I am consistently working on improving my golf skills through coaching and tournaments in the off season. I am very coachable and believe in supporting my teammates. I have the privilege of being named a team captain for my high school varsity soccer team in the fall and look forward to supporting my golf teammates in the spring of 2024.
