I am currently a freshman at Minot State University in North Dakota. I am on the Minot State University Women’s Golf Team. I am planning to transfer at the end of my freshman year to a college that has a Degree in Secondary Education for Science / Biology. My goal is to teach high school science and coach athletics.
My fall season of college golf was hampered by a scar tissue build up in my knee from a torn ACL/Medial meniscus in high school. I have since had the scar tissue removed and went through physical therapy. My knee is doing very well now and I am planning on playing the spring golf season for Minot State University. I am working hard to get my scores back down to the pre-injury high 70’s or better.
I want to be able to continue working towards my Bachelors of Science degree while playing golf on a college team. I would like to be able to continue college on academic and golf scholarships.
I have received a “Permission to talk” letter from Minot State and would be more than happy to send you a copy of it if needed.
I grew up in Texas and have been playing golf year round since I was 5. I have extensive tournament experience and believe that I would be a great candidate for any team. I am a team player and willing to help others. I am coachable and also very dependable, adaptable and can get along well with everyone. I am very dedicated to my academics and also very dedicated to my golf game. Whether it is my academics, golf or anything else in my life; I try to give 110% at all times.
