My love for the game began in middle school around the time I was 11 or 12. I originally had my mind set on playing softball, but when I started playing golf, I instantly fell in love with the game. Golf has taught me patience, self-discipline, and to work hard for something I really enjoy. My most defining golf quality is my ability to hit my drives really straight and just keep my ball in play. My average ball on average goes 230 and 270 downwind. I am currently working with Alan Raspberry for golf instruction to really help me improve in the shorter aspects of the game. Golf is something that means a lot to me and I am willing to put in as much work as possible.
In school, I am mostly an A student with a GPA of 3.86 and a ranking of 59 out of 636 in my class. Academics are an important part of school life and I hope college will bring me new opportunities in the course as well as further my education. During my free time, I work at Raising Canes, babysit, and volunteer while still maintaining my 3.86 GPA and managing golf practices, lessons, and tournaments. Mentally, I feel as though it is important to think about the next shot and over the past years I have learned that maturity increases your patience. I would most definitely love to play college golf and I look forward to any opportunity.
