I started playing golf in the fall of my freshman year and played my first competitive tournament in October of 2017, shooting a 126. One year later, I shot 82 to win the event. Since then, I have increased my swing speed to over 95 mph on my driver, averaging 260 yards. As you can see from my handicap and tournament scores, I'm a very hard worker and driven to improve. In the past 12 months, I have gone from having tournament scores averaging 85-95 in 2018, to averaging 75-85 for 2019. As I continue to improve and grow in the game, my trend continues to get better. Golf is very important to me, but so are academics. It is my hope to attend a university and major in Biology; then, continue on the Medical School and become a Pediatrician. I want to use golf to help me reach my goals in life and to also become a better golfer and person along the way.
