One summer day when I was 10 years old, my father took me to the golf course, and from there on out, I've been hooked. I practiced almost everyday, hit highs and lows, but never gave up. Fast forward to five years later, and now I've completed my first high school golf season. I made bonds that will never be broken and played in conditions that will never be forgotten. Golf has taught me numerous lessons on and off the course. For example, when situations get tough in golf, like in life, you can't give up, but rather, persevere. Then, if things don't go your way, shake it off and move on to the next hole.
Throughout my freshman year, I maintained an A average in all of my classes, including two Pre-Ap classes as well; this resulted in a 4.250 GPA. In my upcoming years of high school and college, I hope to continue to keep my A average and also excel in my career of playing golf. Besides golf, I also enjoy hunting and fishing. In addition, I am working on a second language, which I hope to become fluent in.
