Unlike lots of gymnasts, I have not been doing gymnastics since I could walk. After trying a handful of other sports, I fell in love with gymnastics. I love learning new skills, showing them off at competitions and improving every meet. I like being the first person to the gym and working so hard everyday.
Gymnastics has been anything but easy. It has put me through some of the hardest mental and physical challenges. Through it all I have learned so much about myself. I learned how to get through hard times, how to be an encouraging teammate, how to stay positive during the struggles, and most importantly, it made me love the sport even more. I am so grateful that gymnastics challenges me everyday to be a better gymnast and person.
Those struggles shaped me into the person I am today. I am not the most outgoing when you first meet me, but once I get out of my shell I am very bubbly. I love cheering on my teammates and keeping the good energy up. I enjoy giving them advice and trying my best to help them through whatever may be going on. I value my relationship with my coaches and communication is a huge part of that.
I am looking forever to finding a school perfectly fit for me where I can follow my dreams of being a collegiate gymnast.
