Personal Statement

I am currently entering my senior year at the South Carolina Connections Academy and I play varsity tennis at James Island Charter High School in Charleston, SC. I am seventeen years old and I train six days a week at RISE Tennis Academy in Mt Pleasant here in Charleston, SC.

In the future I want to attend a college that is competitive with both academics and tennis. I am very interested in studying psychology as part of my undergraduate work.

I am a leader. I am a driven competitor that enjoys the team structure. My goals are to find a school where I can thrive, compete, and have fun. I am very focused, and I enjoy leading by encouraging my teammates to have fun and work hard.

I am excited about my academic and athletic future. I look forward to discussing college tennis opportunities!
