I've been playing hockey for over 10 years now, and it still remains to be my favorite sport and thing to do. These past two high school seasons I have been playing at Pope Francis, and it is a very positive and rewarding environment. I love the competitive nature of our practices and games and really excelled in our "team first" culture. I love to be with my teammates on and off the ice, which makes us all feel like one big family. I'm a very driven player who always wants to better myself in any way, in my sports and at school, and I love to help my teammates grow along besides me.
Besides hockey, I play lacrosse and run cross country, and I love art. I'm taking multiple art courses every semester and intend to take AP art next year to pursue my interest in it. I've loved to draw since I was a little kid, and I've found my love for it again over these past few years.
Some of my personal accomplishments include being chosen for Western Mass First team for all three sports, and being chosen as the player from my team for the "all tournament team" at the end of the Newburyport Bank Classic. I've placed 10th in states for cross country in my sophomore year, and 22nd in my junior while fighting some running related injuries. I led our team in scoring for lacrosse and consistently started for hockey.
Over the summer I will be at Rink Sport at Babson College, Beantown, NCD camp, the major Hockey Night in Boston showcase, and the CCM High Performance Showcase
