My name is Geneva Letal and I’m 16 years old. I’ve been playing hockey for 10 years now and it is by far what I am most passionate about. Ever since I was young my dream was to play college hockey and pursue an education to become a physical therapist.
I grew up playing hockey, soccer, dancing and spent many years as a competitive climber. At school I have played hockey, lacrosse and volleyball. I am always willing to try new things that will help improve my game and get me stronger and faster so that I can achieve my dreams. I am passionate about training both on and off the ice! I love being in the gym lifting weights and getting stronger.
I consider myself a hard working, coachable player. I’m a good teammate on and off the ice, and while I am not overly vocal, I lead by example. I am always ready to work hard and take new information and advice to add to my game.
I not only love the game but the team environment as well. Hockey creates such an amazing environment where we make new friends and have a team to have our backs. I love the competitiveness and intensity that’s in hockey and how there’s always something new to learn.
