My name is Mya Luna. I've been playing ever since I could walk . Rotating between boys teams and girls teams to get the experience of both. My position is defense. My goals and aspirations include getting a good education, while doing what I am most passionate about, playing hockey. I would be a good candidate to any team because I am a hard worker and love to play the game. I also try my best during practices, off ice workouts, and games. Most important, I respect the sport I play (Ice Hockey) tremendously. To move forward in life it would be a dream come true if I can achieve a balance of both academics and sport in my college years. I compete in everything, from battles on the wall to back checks in the middle. I am an incredibly hard worker and a positive teammate who is always trying to push myself and my teammates to be better. I have good hockey IQ and I see lanes to make passes. My goal is to attend an NCAA Div I school with great academics while contributing my skill set to their team. I want to further my ice hockey career as a woman athlete.
