Abigail Seaman '23 Recruiting Profile

I have aspirations on being able to attend a college that offers  my study of choice in  the field of Sports Management.  Sports Management will allow me learn all the facets from marketing to even creating a recreation program.  Sports has always been a part of my life as I'd like to continue the passion if feel towards it, whether playing or just a fan.  There continues to be growth for women in the field and I want to be able to be part of the movement to reach my highest potential as a strong person. Being able to continue that education and play the sport I love of ice hockey would make the experience a dream for me.  

 From the time I can remember watching my brother on the ice to the first time  I stepped on the ice my love for the game has continued to grow. The love of the game and being around teammates that share the same passion as I do only pushes me to become an even better player and person. I have a good work ethic in practice and games that allow me to push myself to become the best player I can.   I have a competitive spirit that pushes me to be the best that I can be even if the game doesn't go  the way I would prefer it goes.  I continue to push myself to get better as well as make make my teammates better.  I take great pride in cheering my teamates on whether I'm on the bench or on the ice.  The team is at its best when everyone feels part of the same team.

I take pride in my work in the classroom  as this is most important for my future to grow as an individual.   My goal is to be able to represent myself and the University  to the highest ability on and off the ice.
