Personal Statement

I've been skating since I was 3 years old.  I was a figure skater at first and then switched over to hockey when I was 7 years old.

This upcoming season, I will be playing Intermediate AA (Juniors) for the 2nd year in a row.  I'm very excited about my new team. This will be my 11th year playing for the Burlington Barracudas. Although, I'm graduating this year, I've decided to play another year of Junior Hockey as I'm not quite sure what I want to study in yet.  I am very positive and coachable and love to cheer my team on! As a strong, physical player, I play with a lot of heart and I want to win. I am a beautiful skater and I have a great slap shot. I am so proud and honored to play defense on our High School Tournament Travel Hockey Team,  the NELSON FLAMES. This remarkable, invincible team could beat any provincial team.  We tied the Provincial OFFSA winners (Appleby College) on two occasions in Tournament play.  Nobody wanted to play us anymore because we were too good.

I was one of the most valuable, top all-star physical players for 3 years with the Dundas Blue Devils Soccer Elite team. Playing defense, midfield, and goalie.  I was also part of our High School Champion Field Hockey Team, winning the Regional Gold 3 out of 4 years.   I am very disciplined and have mastered the art of juggling my sports and my academics.  I am fluently bilingual in French and maintain Honor Roll with all advanced courses.  I always work really hard at everything I do.  It is important for me to always do my best, on ice, in school and socially. I will continue to train and develop my game throughout the 2017 summer season so that I can play at the highest level in the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

I even started my own Makeup Artist business...you can check me out on Instagram!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
