I am in my senior year at Renfrew Collegiate Institute. I played on Carleton Place U15 A girls hockey of the 2019- 2020 season. This year I am playing on the Varsity girls team for my school. I have been on the honor roll for the last 5 years in school( Renfrew County Gold Medallion - Meaning over 85%). I am part of a radio show that happens once a month on 580 CFRA in Ottawa, On.
In December 2020 I won the young citizen of the year award for the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce.
In the summer of 2019, I traveled to South America and helped farmers make new irrigation systems. I received a Lions Club International community award this past school year. I have made it to the finals of the Royal Canadian Legion public speaking competition 3 times for my region.
I work part time at a local grocery store in my home town.
My past coaches will tell you that I am very coachable, driven, and a great team member. I am willing to do anything my team needs me to do. My teachers will tell you I'm an excellent student.
My hope is to study health or social issues at the post-secondary level. I am in all advanced level classes.
