Kaya Geddes '23 Recruiting Profile

I have a great passion for the sport of hockey. I love not only the competetive aspect of the game but also the work it takes to get there. I am always looking for ways to better myself as a player. I listen to my coaches and look for ways I can improve myself as an individual both during practices and games as well as outside of team training.  I do this through vigorous off ice training seasons as well as on ice training through other facilities. I am definitely a team player and love the relationships I have built with teammates and coaches through the years. My goal is to be able to keep playing the game I love while also fulfilling my academic ambition. I have not yet decided what field of study I want to pursue  but I apply myself to every class I take. My strengths are in math and science. However, I have considered opening my own business one day as an entrepreneur. Right now I’m leaving my mind open to the possibilities as I study various subjects in high school.
