Mary Leys Hockey ...Personal Statement
It has been my dream for as long as I can remember to play hockey at the college level. I have always loved playing hockey no matter what level I was playing at or who I was playing with, I just love playing. For awhile it was always my dream to go D1 but as I got older and continued to play I've realized that I would be happy to play anywhere, as long as I was playing, but don't get me wrong D1 is still a goal. On every team that I've played on, new or old, I have made many long lasting friends. And to me that is one of the coolest things about hockey. The hockey world is so big, but everyone in it is welcoming. Because of hockey I have friends all around the country and I have created friendships that will last forever. I am able to go onto a new team and become friends with the players and create good chemistry for the team.
