I’ve gone through a lot to get where I’m at athletically and academically but if it wasn’t for those hard ships I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Let’s start with academics, when I was little I was diagnosed with a reading disorder which made a lot of the easy things become really hard. Over the years I’ve lesson how to work with it and now I am in AP and honor classes and have really great grades, so you could say I over came that obstacle. Now with athletics, when I was a kid I could never make up my mind which was not always the best thing. I played a lot of spots like basketball, volleyball, etc. but those sports never sparked my interest. One day my mom signed me up for lacrosse and I wasn’t all too thrilled about it but I sucked it up and went to my first practice. The moment I stepped onto the field with my stick in my hand will be the one moment I will never forget because that’s when I realized that lacrosse was my sport and nothing could ever change that.
