As a three-season varsity athlete and consistent High-Honor role student, I fully commit and dedicate myself to everything I do. My strong time-management skills help me create time to put in the necessary work for success. Additionally, I lead by example both on and off the field. At lacrosse practice, I am a team player and a coachable athlete. In school, I am diligent, engaged, and on top of my work.
The highlight of my high school lacrosse career was becoming a starting member for my high school varsity team during my freshman year. Not only did I significantly improve my skills, but I also gained the tenacity and the confidence to compete with older, more experienced players. While I missed the opportunity to participate in my sophomore season, I decided to make the most of the situation by using the time to improve myself as an athlete. Throughout quarantine, I remained self-motivated and goal-oriented. I honed my stick skills, worked on my athleticism, and watched film to elevate my game. When I began to participate in summer scrimmages, I felt significantly stronger. The experience was highly rewarding, and it served as further inspiration to continue practicing on my own.
